A legacy of love for our Real Estate Business has led us through a challenging 2025 season. There’s no denying it was a Real Estate Market in flux – though we feel that as 2025 ends and that nerves have settled finally! – the outlook is very optimistic!

Our industry, that we agree with, has a very positive outlook moving forward into 2026. We were Waiting and We were Waiting For Lower Rates – Stable Rates and so they arrived! The results of the insecurity in the market came from deepening Canada – US trade tensions, mounting economic and unemployment pressures that triggered a nationwide slow down, and declining residential sales activity through the first half of 2025. As the consumer confidence grew in our current market, economic conditions and personal finance positions improved, and unemployment fell to a record low.

In comparison, the attainable benchmark housing held and, in the second half of the year, played a role in supporting upward mobility, sales activity, and overall consumer confidence. In response to this acceleration, our aim is to offer as much insight to our specific market in Northern Ontario and to help our clients make informed and smart decisions regarding their real estate portfolios.

The return of Buyers and Investors from the sidelines led to a surprising renewal of sales activity across the last quarter in the North. This was most visible and prominent in the market for single-family homes, cottages and resorts.

At Narozanski North we had a solid year with the first two quarters showing a steadfast graduation and marked improvement from the year prior, and the final quarter greatly improved. Interest from Buyers across Ontario increased for many of our products – the housing market has reset.
